Are ISFA Board Meetings Open to the Public?

Yes. All Illinois Sports Facilities Authority board, construction and finance meetings are open to the public. If you are planning on attending a scheduled meeting at the Authority offices, the address is Guaranteed Rate Field, 333 West 35th Street, Chicago, IL. You should park in Lot D and come inside to Gate 4. When entering Gate 4 you will be required to go through a security metal detector and then will be directed to the security desk to sign in and receive a pass to get to the ISFA board room to attend the meeting. If any of these scheduled meetings are held at a location other than the Authority offices, that information will be posted on the website along with parking information and security measures for the building in which the meeting is being held.

How do I get to Guaranteed Rate Field?

There are many ways to get to Guaranteed Rate Field, either by driving or taking public transportation.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

FROM THE FAR NORTH SUBURBS AND MILWAUKEE
Take Interstate 94 East to 90/94. Proceed to 94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) local lanes.

FROM NORTHWEST SUBURBS AND O’HARE INTERNATIONAL
Take Interstate 90 or I-190 East ramp toward Chicago. Merge onto I-90/94 East and follow for about 17 miles to 94 (Dan Ryan Expressway), taking the local lanes.

FROM THE WESTERN SUBURBS
Take 290 East to 94 South (Dan Ryan Expressway) using local lanes.

FROM SOUTH SUBURBS (CHICAGO HEIGHTS)
Take Interstate 94 West. Merge onto I-90. Exit 55A toward 35th Street.

FROM SOUTHWEST SUBURBS AND CHICAGO’S MIDWAY AIRPORT
Take Interstate 55 North toward Chicago. Take the I-94 East/Ryan Expressway Exit 294 towards Indiana. Merge onto I-94 East, taking the local lanes.

FROM NORTHWEST INDIANA
Take Interstate 80 West toward Chicago. Merge onto I-94 West toward Chicago. Continue on I-90 West. Take exit to stay onto I-90. Exit 55A toward 35th Street.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

You may ride the CTA, METRA and AMTRAK to get to U.S. Cellular Field. NOTE: For METRA and AMTRAK, you are going to need to use the CTA as well. For the CTA Red Line, exit at the Sox/35th Street station. For other public transportation information, please visit CTA’s website at www.transitchicago.com or Metra’s website at www.metrarail.com or Amtrak’s website at www.amtrak.com.

FROM THE NORTH MICHIGAN AVENUE/DOWNTOWN AREAS
From any Red Line subway station along State Street (Chicago, Grand, Lake, Washington, Monroe or Jackson), board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM THE SOUTH SIDE
Board a northbound Red Line Howard train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM THE SOUTHWEST SIDE
Board a northbound Orange Line Loop train to Roosevelt. Descend the stairs or elevator to the transfer tunnel to the Red Line subway. Board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM THE NORTH SIDE
Board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM OGILVIE (NORTHWESTERN) TRANSPORTATION CENTER
Use the Washington St. exit. Board an eastbound #20 Madison or #56 Milwaukee bus and obtain a transfer. Exit the bus at State St. Descend the stairs or elevator to the Washington Red Line station. Board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM UNION (AMTRAK & METRA) STATION
From the west side of Canal St., board a #1 Indiana/Hyde Park or #151 Sheridan bus and obtain a transfer. Exit the bus at State St. Descend the stairs or elevator to the Jackson Red Line station. Board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM RANDOLPH STREET, VAN BUREN STREET OR ROOSEVELT ROAD STATIONS (Metra & South Shore)
Walk west two-three blocks to State St. Descend the stairs or elevator to the Red Line station. Board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

FROM LASALLE STREET METRA STATION
Use the LaSalle St. exit (east exit) from the station. Walk east three blocks along Van Buren St. to State St. Descend the stairs or elevator to the Jackson Red Line station. Board a southbound Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan train to Sox-35th St. station. Walk west one block to U.S. Cellular Field.

Where do I park?

During the off-season, guests should park in Lot D for events and meetings at Guaranteed Rate Field’s Conference and Learning Center, Scout Lounge, Stadium Club, on the field and on the concourse levels. During the season, guests should follow White Sox Game-Day Parking Instructions.

Does the Authority donate tickets?

Yes. ISFA donates tickets to help in fundraising efforts for organizations, including charities and non-profits.

Does the Authority donate use of Guaranteed Rate Field's facilities and surrounding property?

ISFA is able to offer a myriad of services to any organization that would like to hold an event at Guaranteed Rate Field. For example, the Conference and Learning Center offers flexible space and the latest in communication and presentation technology for your meeting or event. Guaranteed Rate Field’s facilities also provide full-service catering by Levy Restaurants, an industry leader in premium food service operations at sports and entertainment facilities. All catering and food services are available for your event for an additional fee. Other services available include on-site parking that is free on non-game days in accordance with your scheduled event.

Can the stadium be rented for concerts and other events?

Does my organization need insurance to use ISFA’s facilities?

Yes. All entities that work with the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority will be required to provide insurance for their event or activity and they are required to sign a rental agreement.
