In June, 2014, the Authority welcomed the first-ever Chicago Food Truck Festival. Today’s food trucks are eons away from their original chuckwagon predecessors, but one thing still remains– Chicagoans love them! Every day throughout Chicago people enjoy this new tradition. At the Festival, thousands of food truck fans feasted on tamales, grilled sausage, cannolis and a wide array of other savory options.
