Rundown Alzheimer’s Disease Charity Run

Today more than 5.4 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease.  The ALZ Stars are the premier athletic team that represents the Alzheimer’s Association across the nation. In Illinois the ALZ Stars participate in many athletic events.  All funds raised by ALZ Stars participants help support vital community outreach programs and research on a national level. The second “Rundown Alzheimer’s” charity run featured approximately 100 runners participating in a 3-mile run around the concourse and warning track.
