ALS Foundation Charity Run

“Strike Out ALS” a 5K charity run sponsored by the Les Turner ALS Foundation, began at old home plate in B-lot and then came into and around the ball park. Approximately 120 runners completed the course, raising $10k for the organization’s mission of the treatment and elimination of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The Les Turner ALS Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Chicago that provides ALS patient services; supports events, education and awareness about ALS; and funds ALS research.
