Nation Ovarian Cancer Coalition 5k Run/Walk
On Saturday, May 4, 2013, ISFA hosted the 16th annual National Ovarian Cancer Coalition 5K Run/Walk. The event kicked off at “Old Home Plate” with 4000 people taking off to run or walk the track that circled the baseball field and our parking lots.
This year the event raised a record breaking amount of $400,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research.

Chicago Police Department v. Chicago Fire Department
On Friday, August 2, 2013, ISFA hosted the 14th annual Chicago Police Department v. Chicago Fire Department charity baseball game. Approximately 2000 supporters cheered on Chicago’s Finest and Chicago’s Bravest to raise money to benefit the Chicago Police Departments Memorial Fund & the Chicago Fire Department Benevolent Fund. Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy & Fire Department Commissioner Jose Santiago were on hand to throw out the first pitches. Chicago’s Finest won this year’s game. Prior to the game the Warriors’ Watch Riders lined the warning track on their motorcycles to pay tribute to the men and women who have died in the line of duty. Day of Game monies raised were approximately $4700.
